Terms of service — one-time purchase

The short version

WrappedMe is a personal photo-recap app. Your photos remain yours, and the app works without an account. It is a one-time App Store purchase, not a subscription. Its summaries and personality-style reflections are meant to help you look back on a year — not to make an authoritative judgment about you. Agreement

This agreement is between you and WrappedMe's developer ("we," "us"), not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for WrappedMe and its content. This agreement doesn't limit any rights you have under Apple's own Media Services Terms and Conditions, which also apply to your use of the App Store.

License

We grant you a non-transferable license to use WrappedMe on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store's Usage Rules — including access through Family Sharing, if you've enabled it.

Using the app

WrappedMe lets you generate summaries and insights from your own photo library. You're responsible for your library's content and for having the necessary rights over those photos.

Creative results

WrappedMe combines your photos with the details and patterns found in your library to create a personal recap. Some writing and personality-style reflections are generated by Apple’s on-device language model. They are creative interpretations, may be incomplete or unexpected, and are not professional, psychological, medical, or factual assessments.

Eligibility and respectful use

You must meet the minimum age required by your local law to use WrappedMe. Use it only with photos you have the right to use, for personal and non-commercial purposes. Do not try to copy, reverse-engineer, interfere with, or bypass paid parts of the app except where applicable law gives you that right.

No accounts

WrappedMe works without registration or sign-in. All your data lives on your device, and you can delete it from your profile with "Delete my data." Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID via the App Store and restores with "Restore purchase" on any device.

One-time purchase

WrappedMe unlocks with a one-time, non-consumable payment — no subscriptions, no recurring charges. The price is always shown before you buy, Apple processes the charge through the App Store, and you can restore your purchase on any device with the same Apple ID.

Support and maintenance

We, not Apple, are responsible for providing maintenance and support for WrappedMe. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support for the app. If something isn't working, write to us — see "Contact" below.

Warranty

We provide WrappedMe as-is, without any warranty beyond what applicable law requires. If the app fails to conform to any warranty that does apply, you may notify Apple, and Apple's only obligation will be to refund the purchase price you paid — Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses related to that failure are our responsibility alone.

Claims and liability

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims from you or a third party relating to WrappedMe or your possession or use of it — including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to any legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.

Intellectual property

We're solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any claim that WrappedMe or your possession and use of it infringes a third party's intellectual property rights. Separately, you retain all rights to the photos in your own library — using the app doesn't grant us any license to that content, which never leaves your device in the first place.

Export compliance

By using WrappedMe, you represent that you're not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you're not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-party terms

When you use WrappedMe, you must also comply with the terms of any third-party agreement that applies to you — for example, your wireless carrier's data plan terms — since those aren't something we control.

Apple as a third-party beneficiary

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this agreement, and Apple has the right (and will be deemed to have accepted that right) to enforce this agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Governing law

Nothing in this agreement limits any consumer-protection rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence. Beyond those rights, this agreement is governed by the laws applicable where we operate, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
